I really don't even know where to start. This post may be pretty long. Let me start by saying capturing this event completely changed my life. Lets start from the beginning Jenna contacted me a few months back asking me to photograph her delivery. She knew I had never done it but said she felt confident enough in my work that she knew I would be able to capture the emotion and feelings in the room. Can you believe that? What a huge compliment is that right???? So anyways Jenna wasn't due until the middle of Dec so we made a appt. for a consultation to meet and go over details. Actually tonight was supposed to be our consultation. Obviously that didn't happen because Jenna went into labor monday night! At 10pm I got a call. When I saw her name on my phone I immediately knew she was in labor. Jared (her ever so loving and sweet husband) said with excitement that she was in labor and they were on their way to the hospital! They called me about 20 minutes later to say she was checked and was at a 4 already so I zoomed right over to the hospital! Now we hadn't met yet, but I have to say I feel like I have always known this family. So much love, warmth, and pure happiness was filling the room. Baby Kaleb is one lucky lucky little man to be a part of this family. Jenna's sister Kara even drove all the way up from LA just in time to make the delivery! Jenna and Jarred, THANK YOU. Thank you for choosing me to be a small part of a huge moment for you guys. Thank you for trusting me enough to photograph the delivery of your baby boy. Im so honored. I couldn't have possibly asked for a better family and sweeter couple to work with. Thank you.
